The Genius roller insect screens complement the existing decor giving complete protection from flying insects and other airborne pests. All of our cassette screens include the unique inertia brake. When the screen is released, the brake allows the screen to retract smoothly back into the cassette without slamming.

What is a Genius retractable insect screen?

Genius has a range of different Cassette systems of Retractable Screens which are the most practical and versatile on the market today. They comprise a screen material (normally fibreglass insect screening ) fixed to an aluminium Centre Tube and to an aluminium Sliding Bar with which to pull the screen out of the Cassette. The screen is normally tensioned by a spring mechanism and so, upon release it returns to the Cassette, winding itself back onto the Centre Tube ready for use again - safely hidden out of sight and harm's way.
